Apparently, there are two rules to follow about meals, in order to encourage weight loss.
1. Don't eat big meals. Your body will think it may be your last, and try to store more fat.
2. Don't eat once a day, or irregularly. Your body will always wonder when the next meal is coming, and try to store more fat.
So, the idea is to eat smaller meals, more often. The suggestion is to eat 6 times a day. That doesn't mean 6 big meals. It means a healthy breakfast, small lunch, small dinner, and a few extra healthy snacks or small meals. For example, eat half your lunch at lunch time... then eat the rest at 3 pm.
If you are busy and miss a meal, or if it is time for a small meal and you don't have anything healthy to eat, then a Meal Replacement Bar or Protein Bar may be a good option. I bought some from AllStarHealth.com for about a buck a piece.
