Caffeine is an interesting topic for dieting.

Caffeine is the most popular drug in today's culture and is abused by most of the people that enjoy it.

So you would expect that Caffeine is something you should cut from your diet, to be healthy.

This concerns me a little bit, because a lot of the diet soda I drink, such as Coke Zero, contains just as much caffeine as the regular sodas.

However, in the area of dieting, caffeine is often touted as a good thing.  In moderation, it is an energy booster and helps you to burn more calories during your exercise, and has been proven to assist in weight loss.  So, I'm not going to start drinking coffee or anything, but I guess my 0-2 drinks of diet soda every day are not necessarily such a bad thing...
